The company is RARELY even aware of the scam.  It's like holding a bank 
responsible because you got robbed on the way home from using their ATM 
(after you were well off of their property).  I doubt you could make a 
viable case against any of those companies.

(and, they aren't typically benefiting from the scam either; it happens 
too fast for them to sell against it, and they typically aren't really 
wanting to just dump their stock randomly, either)
