I don't think this is a good idea.  The way MIMEDefang creates work 
directories is not likely to be safe if multiple instances of MD are 
using the same /var/spool/MIMEDefang over NFS.  There's a chance of a 
race condition that could cause two separate messages to end up in the 
same work directory.
