[Mimedefang] mimedefang and rezor not working

Thanks for the response what I was referring to in my post, is a matter
of seconds not minutes.

What I was suspect of is that the client cloudmark product uses
different servers or something or that
spamassassin/razor was not functioning properly.

I worked on it over the weekend and everything seems much better. What I
have done was to modify the test setting in spamassassin after profiling
most of my spam mail and modified the setting related to all of them.

I am not receiving the usual bombardment of spam mails I usually do. It
seems strange now that I am not though.... I question that the system is
working so I send myself test emails.

I have been getting 2000 spams a day. My next deal is to get the
reporting aspects of things to work. Gathering statistics and such !!!

Any ideas on how to do this ??

The difference is time. Remember that Razor/Cloudmark works by having
people report spam. Until it's been reported, it won't show up.
Suppose a spam gets sent out, and it hits a whole bunch of servers at
once,
including yours. It's new, so when your mail server checks it with
Razor,
it doesn't find it. 10 minutes late, you check your email with
Outlook. During those 10 minutes, someone else has gotten the spam and
reported it. So now it's in the database, and when Cloudmark checks it,
it
does find it.
