I don't know if this is what you mean, but...

If you pass sa-learn something like "-p
/etc/mail/spamassassin/sa-mimedefang.cf" and you have this set in there:

bayes_path /var/spool/spamassassin/bayes

Then it'll import the data into:

/var/spool/spamassassin/bayes_msgcount
/var/spool/spamassassin/bayes_seen
/var/spool/spamassassin/bayes_toks
