Buy CanIt. :-)

It keeps (per-user) bayes data in a PostgreSQL database.  For really
busy servers, this tends to kill performance, so we have an
optimization that generates a local Berkeley DB copy as required.

OK; if you don't want to buy CanIt, then some kind of SQL patch
is probably the way to go.
