[Mimedefang] (newbie) attachment authentication

Hi all,
	I want to make sure that an attachment is really what it claims
to be i.e. a .doc file is really a .doc and not an .exe . Do I need to
run the unix command "file" to do this or does mimedefang provide some
provision for this type of check beyond reading what the file claims to
be? thanks for your help.
