As David already said, this mechanism is not "miltering" (aka mail 
filtering). Therefore it is completely "parallel" to the current 
implementation of MIMEDefang (however, it is comparable to sendmail's 
socketmaps, which is partly supported by MIMEDefang).

No by design.

However, it would be an interesting addon to use the multiplexor - perl 
combo (with cleanup, busy-kill etc) for any sort of daemon. Maybe, it 
would open MIMEDefang more toward Postfix ;-)
