[Mimedefang] defang script using chown or chgrp

Now I am confused.

According to Rob in an earlier mail the sender can choose the message ID
and could create a message ID of something like ../../passwd

Are we talking at crossed purposes here or is it a case that I should
work out my own unique numbering system?
