[Mimedefang] Installing MD on a Solaris 8 box?

Been there done that and got the t-shirt to prove it.

You will probably need to uninstall GCC to install the new version. If you
ever patch Solaris make sure you copy all the upgraded Sendmail stuff
before you do.  The Sun patch cluster will overwrite the version of
sendmail you have regardless of version.

Make sure that /usr/bin/perl actually points to the new version of Perl
you are going to install.
