[Mimedefang] Installing MD on a Solaris 8 box?

We're using MD on a Solaris 9 machine with gcc 2.95.3 and perl 5.6.1.  
One thing to watch out for is ulimits on Solaris.  We add "ulimit -n 
1024" to the init script to make sure there is plently of room for open 
file descriptors.  And you'll need sendmail 8.12+ for milter support.
