Beats me.  Here's my mimedefang.pl -features:

Virus:CLAMAV                  : yes (/usr/local/bin/clamscan)
Virus:CLAMD                   : yes (/usr/local/sbin/clamd)

Did you customize your mimedefang-filter to set
$Features{"Virus:ClamAV"} = "/usr/local/bin/clamdscan";
perchance?

If so, just change that line to
$Features{"Virus:CLAMAV"} = "/usr/local/bin/clamdscan";

FWIW, $Features{"Virus:CLAMD"} effectively does the same thing as clamdscan.
