Um, not that I do this very often, especially on Security matters?!? But
to quote err... Microsoft... (cringe)

virus scanner at all

I'm in a very similar situation only I have fewer users. I've had very
little trouble in upgrading clamav on my systems as I utilize the up2date
functionality of the Redhat'ish OS's that I run. If you set up the
up2date/yum to keep up with the DAG repository you'll be updated on a
pretty short order. Now of course, I don't rely on automatic updates and
updates are done manually, and as well beaten on this mailing list, you
will need to make a few minor permissions adjustments (or sendmail
configuration changes) in order to get the DAG package to play well with
Mimedefang/Sendmail. DAG has builds for Redhat Enterprise, Fedora 1-3, and
many more. But DAG also has packages that may conflict with system
packages from time to time, so be careful in your configuration.
