[Mimedefang] How can mimedefang use spamc/spamd funcitons ofspamassassin?

Not exactly.  MD calls the SA Perl module(s) directly, rather than
invoking  an external script or program.

IIRC someone *did* go to the effort of building an interface to use
spamd (running on a different machine) with MD;  check back through the
list archives.  I think someone also posted details of a slightly
different implementation of per-user SA execution in MD to this list at
one point as well.
