[Mimedefang] Slave x stderr: Out of memory during request for y bytes

I have just upgraded from MD2.44/SA2.6 to MD2.45/SA3.0 on FreeBSD 4.9 
and the following is appearing frequently in the system log...

13376 bytes, total sbrk() is 30314496 bytes!

Oct 21 16:33:33 host mimedefang-multiplexor[99774]: Slave 1 stderr: 
568 bytes, total sbrk() is 30504960 bytes!

Oct 21 17:19:00 host mimedefang-multiplexor[99774]: Slave 3 stderr: 
Out of memory during request for
Oct 21 17:19:00 host mimedefang-multiplexor[99774]: Slave 3 stderr: 
20000 bytes, total sbrk() is 30470144 bytes!

This is with the default SA configuration. Disabling SA stopped the 
errors. Is this a known issue?
