The legality or the need of the banner is still up for grabs. Many
lawyers will say you need them to make sure your ass is covered. Whether
they are admissable in court is currently dependant of what jurisdiction
and whether it can fall under Patriot or other items.

They can also just take the eqt whether you have the banner or not,
