Does NOT and as I said it's been happily deleting the SoBig virus from the
beginning.  However, the point is you should not add something to a piece of
software that could potentially break the software. If that switch is added
to the default execution MY virus scanner would fail...  This switch needs
to be up to us whether it's used or not.
