Only some sobig virus's were slipping by the scanner.
It would appear your version is old enough to not recognize the switch.
Mcafee should by default not detect some virus's if the switch is not
enabled, therefore it would appear to make sense to have the switch in
place.
It might be useful enough to mention somewhere in the documentation that
the version of mcafee needs to be able to support the mime switch.
