[Mimedefang] Strange Error in MD 2.24

This is more of a sendmail issue than a MD issue.  Besides reworking your filter to not scan the messages from this server, you should probably increase the Load Average values in your sendmail.cf.  Be default, the RefuseLA is set at 12 and QueueLA is 8.  With the hardware you've got (if this is a dedicated mail server), you can raise the limits to 100 or more without problems.  You'll have to determine what figures work best for you.  The figure you're hitting against is the RefuseLA.  The defaults were set years ago when hardware was a fraction of the speed it is now.  Look in your O'Reilly sendmail book and on google.com under comp.mail.sendmail for some discussion of these parameters.

Even with raising these figures, expect a lot of the messages to queue and get delivered later.  There's no way you can deliver that kind of volume over the Internet as fast as it gets delivered to your server over the LAN.
