Hrmm.. well, after my users complained, I started looking at the HTML
code that they are getting, and it does have "DEFANGED_href" and such in
the HTML code. After digging, this is exactly what Anomy::HTML does to
the message, and, by default, it does this to ALL of the external HTML
references.

Anomy::HTML has the ability for you to specify which references you can
let through "un-defanged", but MD doesn't appear to have the ability to
pass that information to Anomy::HTML..

I'm running 2.11 under Solaris at one site, and 2.11 under RedHat 7.2 at
another, with a huge variety of end user MUAs (Eudora, Outlook Express,
Outlook, Netscape, etc).
