[Mimedefang] MD & Anomy Sanitizer

I've noticed that MD with Anomy Sanitizer 'defangs' all HTML HREF's, 
including those for simple graphics (jpg, gif, etc).

I did some checking, and this is definitely due to Anomy Sanitizer. 
 However, because MD is calling Anomy Sanitizer, I am not sure how to 
tell MD to call Anomy Sanitizer with the right settings to avoid this...

For example, a newsletter a client gets comes through like:

    <TD><IMG height="1" width="101" border=0 DEFANGED_DEFANGED_NOSEND="1" 
      DEFANGED_DEFANGED_src="http://www.mpiweb.org/news/newsbytes/nbemail/shim.gif" 
      DEFANGED_NOSEND="1"></TD>


Any ideas would be more than welcome!
