[Mimedefang] problem on install

Greetings all~!

I've searched the archives for the keywords, 
but haven't found anything that helps.

When trying to install the patch for 
MIME-tools I get the following error message - 

[root at MAILBOX MIME-tools-5.411]# patch -pl < mime-tools-patch.txt
patch: **** strip count l is not a number

How can I fix this so I can move forward on installing?
