[Mimedefang] errors 2.4 and 2.5

I dont know if this was in my first message or not but here is something that
looks different:

Feb 19 00:28:29 hermes mimedefang[24846]: Error from multiplexor: ERR Filter
timed out
Feb 19 00:28:29 hermes sendmail[24845]: g1J6SSDd024845: to=<JOMAMA at BIRDDOG.COM>,
delay=00:00:01, pri=30341, stat=Please try again later

Notice the "ERR Filter timed out".  Do I have an error in my filter code?

 Are you using the multiplexor?  I haven't used MIMEDefang without
 the multiplexor lately, and maybe I broke something in non-multiplexor
 mode.
 
 A quick poll:  Does anyone *need* non-multiplexor mode?  I would like
 to make multiplexor-mode the only supported way to run MIMEDefang.
