while you're doing that, could you change it so that instead of just using the 
first scanner found, it uses all scanners found? For a while I was running 
File::Scan and Clamd (I was testig Clamd) and I had to manually configure the 
filter to use both. While fairly easy to do, it'd be nice if MD would just 
"do the right thing" by itself. it would be even nicer if you could put an 
option like $ContinueScanIfVirusFound that would do this:
email with virus received, File::Scan detects it
email is then scanned with Clamd, which detects it
email is scanned with Kapersky, which didn't detect it

of course, setting this optino to 0 would stop after the first scanner found a 
virus (but continue to the next scanner if no virus was found) like:
email with virus received, File::Scan no-detect
email is then scanned with Clamd, which detects it
email is rejected/quarantined/etc
