[Mimedefang] whitelist_from list for SA?

I assume that SA should be getting its configuration from
/etc/mail/spamassassin/sa-mimedefang.cf

I have put this into it, but it isn't working:

whitelist_from	pick at mail.rehame.com *@ag.gov.au *@coverclicks.biglist.com

These senders produce regular emails from mailing list
subscriptions, and they are getting tagged with high spam scores.
Adding them to the SA config file hasn't seemed to have made any
difference (including after a restart).

Any ideas?  (Besides specifically exempting them from SA scanning in
filter_end).
