[Mimedefang] future of mimedefang and locale

Hi,

Two questions in one.

Also, mimedefang ships an init script with this included:

# Locale should be set to "C" for generating valid date headers
LC_ALL=C
export LC_ALL

Is this considered a bug? Can it be fixed?
