[Mimedefang] Help .. F-Prot upgrade from f-protd to fpscand

I initialy thought that this would be seamless, but found that, it appears 
that the interface to the new version "fpscand" is not compatible with the 
existing interface code, to "f-protd" in mimedefang.

Both versions of the daemon listen on the same port, but when I run the new 
daemon, I immediately start tmpfailing, all messages.

Has anyone implemented Virus scanning, via F-prot 6.x, using fpscand?
