MIMEDefang 2.64-BETA-1 is available from http://www.mimedefang.org/node.php?id=1

If you are using embedded Perl, please test this version (at least that
it compiles.)  We have fixed a long-standing irritation in which the
$$ Perl variable held the process ID of the master multiplexor instead
of the slave process.  This resulted in the wrong pids being logged.

The fix should work with Perl 5.8.x, but I have not tested it with Perls
earlier than 5.8.0.
