Thanks man thats exactly what I was thinking....  I'm gonna install
and learn how to use rbldnsd and see if my gateway has processing
power for it...  Which I believe it does being thats its a 2ghz
machine with 512mb ram and 30gb

For my "regular dns caching" I have always used dnsmasq..  do you
think its the wrong tool for this job?  perhaps you know of something
even smaller that "only" supports dns and will work quickly... ?
