[Mimedefang] Virus scanner performace

Hey,

I run MD2.61 and clamav 90.1 and its so slooow, i use 10 secs on a single
mail, and i seems like i scan all mail, even if they dont contain any files.
Is this a desired behavior ? Are there anything to do to get faster times
with clamav ? And what other scanners does people use, that might be faster?

I run clamav on an ATA drive, and i know that better hardware would be good.
