Yes, I would have agreed with you until a couple of years ago.  Some
of our customers send us HTML-only mail. :-(  We have to be polite.

(We even have a reseller who insists on including his GIF logo at
the bottom of each e-mail.  We genty try to educate, but you can't
always push it...)
