[Mimedefang] Mimedefang crashing randomly

I am having a strange problem w/a Mimedefang install. Mimedefang, ClamAV,
and Spamassassin are all on the system. This is my 5th server to do this
identical set up on but this one is the only one having problems.

The milter will work for a while and then decide that it doesn't want to
play anymore and mimdefang will stop.

Here's the maillog.

I can restart the mimdedefang service and it will start running again until
this unknown event happens. In the mean time the filter works just like it
is supposed to.

Any ideas on what "milter_read(mimedefang): cmd read returned 0, expecting
5" means?

The server has a gig of memory and I've tried lowering the number of slaves
to 2 running and 1 stopped for a total of 3 and that still didn't help
anything.
