Just an FYI from Potomac Tech Wire:

o Columbia-Based Sourcefire Acquires ClamAV Project

Columbia, Md. -- Marking the company's first acquisition since its IPO in
March, Columbia-based Sourcefire, a developer of open source intrusion
detection technology, said on Friday that it has acquired ClamAV, an open
source gateway anti-virus and anti-malware "project". Under terms of the
deal, the company has paid an undisclosed sum for the assets and related
trademarks, as well as copyrights held by its five principal members,
including project founder Tomasz Kojm. The principals all reside in Europe.
Sourcefire also will also assume control of the ClamAV.org web site and the
ClamAV Sourceforge project page, with ClamAV's employees joining the
company. Nearly 1 million unique IP addresses across 38 countries download
ClamAV's malware updates daily.
