The bigger your SA ruleset....... The bigger the MD process that goes with
it

I'm actually curious about this, mainly because I have a few boxes
that I load balance (via hardware). Each box has ~4GB RAM and I can't
seem to run more than 25 MD slaves or I'll run out of memory (and hit
swap). The ones that call SA seem to soak up ~225MB of memory. I'd
like to up the number of slaves I could run, but not sure where to
look to improve the performance.

I already run a RAMDISK for MD (512MB) on each box. Is there any way
to pinpoint why the SA slaves seem to soak up so much memory? Perhaps
I have too many rules installed?

Thanks!
JW
