It's true for Germany as well (since 1 Jan 2007). Commercial mails have to 
include any information, that is on a printed email usually, e.g. managing 
board, number in trade register, _postal_ address and stuff like that.
That is a law was changed to include the phrase "in any form" in 
conjunction with defining what a "business letter" is, which, in chain, 
defines what information about the firm is to be included.

However, this information is not related to the "delete the mail if" 
disclaimers. But many firms want to have the info on any outgoing mail to 
forestall grey legal practicers collecting a fee for nothing.
