Over the last few days, I started to find these in my MD log file:
Nov 23 00:03:05 gloop mimedefang[85362]: Error from multiplexor: error:
kAN8346I086134: couldn't open INPUTMSG: No such file or directory
Nov 23 00:03:05 gloop mimedefang-multiplexor[85346]: Slave 10 stderr:
write-open Work/msg-85405-52.txt: No such file or directory at
/usr/local/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.8/MIME/Body.pm line 432, <_GEN_51>
line 46.
Nov 23 00:03:05 gloop mimedefang-multiplexor[85346]: Reap: slave 10 (pid
85405) exited normally with status 2 (SLAVE DIED UNEXPECTEDLY)
Nov 23 00:34:38 gloop mimedefang[85362]: Error from multiplexor: error:
kAN8YZVI093397: Cannot mkdir(Work): No such file or directory
Nov 23 00:34:38 gloop mimedefang-multiplexor[85346]: Slave 8 stderr:
write-open Work/msg-92761-13.txt: No such file or directory at
/usr/local/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.8/MIME/Body.pm line 432, <_GEN_12>
line 9.
Nov 23 00:34:38 gloop mimedefang-multiplexor[85346]: Reap: slave 8 (pid
92761) exited normally with status 2 (SLAVE DIED UNEXPECTEDLY)
I get this unnerving feeling that I'm bouncing into that weirdo ufs
filesystem problem that I asked about a few weeks back. The problem is
that I don't appear to be hitting the magic threshold. There are 1090
files and/or directories in /var/spool/MIMEDefang (which is a different
problem entirely).
Thanks!
