[Mimedefang] MIMEDefang Problems

Hello, Ive just recently installed MIMEDefang so i can use spam assassin 
with my sendmail server, but im having some problems, after installing 
everything i used this command to create a MIMEDefang socket for 
comunication with sendmail

  /usr/local/bin/mimedefang -m /var/spool/MIMEDefang/mimedefang.sock -U 
defang

And when i restart sendmail i get an error

cub:~\# /etc/init.d/sendmail restart
Restarting Transport Agent: sendmailWARNING: Xmimedefang: local socket 
name /var/spool/MIMEDefang/mimedefang.sock missing

And my mail.log looks like this

Jul 23 15:04:03 localhost mimedefang[1892]: MXCommand: connect: No such 
file or directory: Is multiplexor running?

Jul 23 15:04:30 localhost mimedefang[1892]: Multiplexor unresponsive - 
entering main loop anyway

Im not really quite sure what the Multiplexor even is...
