     Use things like md-mx-ctrl histo to see how often all the threads
are busy.  This will give you an idea of how many you need.  Just keep
in mind that adding more threads will consume more memory, CPU, and
disk space for processing.  Just keep in mind that at some point you
will exceed the system's capacity and the correct thing will be to
reduce the number of sendmail childrens.
