  The sane sendmail way is probably to use the suitable "feature" :-)

  In your .mc file :
define(`confDOUBLE_BOUNCE_ADDRESS', `')dnl

  Now, if you absolutely want to address the issue in MimeDefang
that's your privilege :-)
