A little question about performances,

When we do not have the option of a ram disk (VPS configuration for 
exemple) does mimedefang on "disk only" will be better or not than a 
basic procmail call of clamd/spamd if we use it only to call clam/spam 
and filter the  attachements based on extentions (basic filter exemple 
in fact the one by default with very little modifications)  ?
