Now if MP had chosen another product for the skit's song (perhaps not even
food), what else could we be calling UBE today? :)
As a kid in low-middle income household, I was served SPAM (ick) as
"economy food" when money ran low, and I suspect the meme of SPAM as cheap
bulk food is shared by many. The single-syllable name also helps make it
easy to use an an all-purpose noun/verb.
