[Mimedefang] Offtopic Sendmail question - Accepting mail foranyuser at domain.com

Sendmail will do this if you have the following in virtusertable

@domain.com		auser

it will deliver all mail that can't be matched to any other rule to 'auser'

Recently, my Sendmail has began accepting email addressed to
'anyuser at domain.com', where anyuser is truly ANY name, at my localdomain.
I am uncertain why this is, nor where to look.

Any ideas are appreciated !
