I've also noticed that my cpu is now running at around 50% compared to 15%
on MIMEDefang 2.45

Subject: [Mimedefang] DNS Checks

Hi,

I've updated MIMEDefang from 5.45 to 5.51, SURBL, DCC, Razor (All DNS
lookups) have stoped working I have checked the LOCAL_RULES_DIR and linked
local.cf and init.pre to the /etc/mail/spamassassin dir still nothing.

When starting MIMEDefang I do see this in the logs.

mimedefang-multiplexor[8279]: [ID 443550 mail.info] WARNING: Something in
your Perl filter appears to have opened a file descriptor outside of any
function. With embedded Perl, you should move any code that opens a file
descriptor into filter_initialize. On some systems, the C library may open a
descriptor, but you should verify your filter just in case.

The command I use to run MIMEDEfang is:

/usr/local/bin/mimedefang-multiplexor -U defang -p
/var/run/mimedefang-multiplexor.pid -m 8 -x 16 -b 300 -i 600 -q 30 -Q120 -r
500 -E -l /usr/local/bin/mimedefang -U defang -r -P /var/run/mimedefang.pid
-p /var/spool/MIMEDefang/mimedefang.sock -m
/var/spool/MIMEDefang/mimedefang-multiplexor.sock

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks
Trevor
