[Mimedefang] Redirecting email with mimedefang

Hi,
 
>From what I can see one can redirect mail which is destine for a specific
recipient and specify another one
( using delete_recipient($recip) and  add_recipient('my-email at address.com')
)
what id like to know is it a good a idea to do with with Mimedefang? Can
this interrupt the whole filtering/scanning process?
 
And if its ok where about in the mime-filter should I place the code?
