Agreed.  But in this case, it's a particularly dumb idea, because your
internal mail server might decide to reject mail from a blacklisted sender.
The secondary MX host won't find that out until it actually goes to deliver
the mail, when it could have saved itself the trouble right from the start.
You might want to copy this message to the people who run that secondary
MX machine.

Also, as another poster noted, my rejection happens after the DATA phase,
so it wouldn't affect your situation.
