Err... normal operating systems do that automatically.

no idea. Contact someone who knows perl? (http://www.perl.org.il/ looks
like a place to start, maybe).

Or, if the command "perl -MDate::Simple -e 1" gives an error of the
form "Can't locate Date/Simple.pm in @INC...", then your Date::Simple
module has vanished, and needs to be reinstalled (for example with the
command "perl -MCPAN -e 'install Date::Simple'", but you might want
to use a package manager to do it).
