Hmmm... the latest versions of sendmail have a FEATURE(ldap_routing...)

It appears this may work more or less directly with Active Directories, give or take a few schema extensions and open ports.

I haven't gotten this to work myself, but this would be a good place to start.

Perhaps there is a sendmail-specific list somewhere that has already discussed this issue more in-depth?

If anyone finds a definitive answer I'd be interested.
