[Mimedefang] A question for Filer.pm

Hi,

I have a question about Perl Filer.pm. 

Currently, I am running MIMEDefang on Solaris 9 and Linux Redhat 9, and both Perl versions are 5.8.3.  I always see my mail log file complains:

slave 13 stderr: ignoring text in character set 'WINDOWS-1253'
at /usr/local/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.3/MIME/Parser/Filer.pm line 646 (or other line numbers)

Does it mean MIMEDefang can still perform a virus scan?
