Bill,

   It seems SpamAssassin 2.70 became SpamAssassin 3.0.0 a few weeks 
back.  I'm not sure this will be the final version number when it is 
released, but I doubt that it will go below 3 at this point.  I have no 
connection to the SA development team, but I try to watch the status as 
best I can.
