Because with the latest viruses, people were getting thousands of
quarantined e-mails in a short period of time.  Some operating systems
do not react well to directories with thousands of entries in them,
and basically just die under the load.

Note that I merely commented out the calls.  If you want to quarantine
mail, just un-comment them.
