i'm not an eec fan, but i gave up using the shift key eons ago. 
that said, i do use punctuation which will help make the rules
viable.  i'm not sure that 15 words is the right metric, as many
sentences can run on for several words at a time without any
real needed punctuation in such runs.  like that one.  :)

but i've been trying to think of an effective set of rules short
of busting out a real semantic checking parser or something.
